Verity Smith - Marketing Manager - Specialist
Verity joined Mobilis Healthcare in 1997. In her first year with us, she oversaw the management of a new business unit with the Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, building close relationships with the hospital's physiotherapy department.
In 2001, Verity left Mobilis on sabbatical to study marketing qualifications at the Manchester Business School returning to the company a year later. Verity is now the Marketing Manager for the Specialist Division, working with the specialist team to continuously develop new product initiatives and broaden our target markets.
Martin Haines - Managing Director - Mobilis Performance™
Martin qualified as a Remedial Gymnast and Recreational Therapist 25 years ago. After two years he became a Chartered Physiotherapist and went on to work in the fields of medical and sports conditioning in professional sports. During his 20 year career of working in this field, Martin has worked with 11 Olympic medalists, who have won 23 medals, nine of them being gold.
Martin has been the medical and conditioning advisor to leading rugby clubs and football teams in the UK as well as providing his knowledge to seating design and functional training for the Formula One drivers in the McLaren Racing Team. Martin also trains UK Athletics coaches on how to prescribe injury prevention programmes and runs biomechanical education seminars for professional golfers in the UK on behalf of the Professional Golfers Association. Martin works internationally, presenting his Intelligent Training courses on the topics of biomechanics, rehabilitation, conditioning and functional training.
